Loard’s Ice Cream

The best! A Bay Area treasure. This is what real ice cream tastes like. Incredible texture and flavor.

I love the blueberry ice cream that they have there. It is so delicious. Especially on a hot summer or spring day. Or perhaps just anytime. We go there and get the lemon ice cream. Also that's old school you know but this place is awesome. It's been there in the community for some years and I love it.

Stumbled on this place after making a stop near the Oakland airport and then using Google maps to find a route to the airport from there. When I drove by I saw this old school creamery and about a year later I was in the area and could stop. We picked up two chocolate malts and both were A++++. Good selection of ice cream flavors and super friendly staff.

This place is goooood. It kinda looks a little hood from the outside, but they friendly and the sundaes are insane. So much hot fudge which is delicious and and they were accommodating to requests. They don’t have a bathroom though, you have to use Nissan across the road.

I give it 5 stars for the quality and taste of it's ice cream. I just had a classic Black and Tan Sundae and, as usual, it was fantastic. It's small inside with no tables that can be used at the moment. It's an old place (but clean!) attached to where they make the ice cream. I've gone here for decades and have never been disappointed. Not fancy at all but super tasty!
