Dr. Gary G. Shi, MD

My Husband and I had wonderful experiences with Dr Shi and Staff. I do need to say, this is a Doc who comes from China and sometimes, other people do not understand him. I always try to make exceptions. Listen to him with your heart and brain. Good luck to ALL.

We had a good experience with Dr Shi and his staff at both his Jackson and Folsom offices. My mom had a very difficult illness and I really appreciate that Dr Shi fought hard to help her. We always felt we were receiving the best advise and recommendations.

Dr. Shi has a direct approach with patients. He is very intelligent and analytical and compassionate once he has an understanding of the issues. When the biopsy report did not match with symptoms and other tests, he got a second opinion from Stanford University Labs that identified the cancer as a type of cancer that was slower growing and with a high cure rate and which matched up with the symptoms and other tests. He went further and got me into Stanford Oncology for a second opinion on the alternative treatments. I ended up in surgery at Stanford. Because of the excellent diagnostic care I received from Dr. Shi, I am now cancer free and would recommend him to my friends.
