“I like her transparency. They drug tested as soon as I got there for my initial consult. The strips were on the bottle, so by the time I washed my hands, I could see the results. I am a medical marijuana user, which is the only thing that showed positive, and she didn't mind. She needs to know upfront if someone is using multiple drugs, street drugs, or drugs they're not being prescribed. Considering she's a pain management doctor, she has to cover herself and prevent drug seeking patients from pulling the wool over her eyes. She gave me a mild pain medication to use as needed, during the day, since I use the marijuana at night only (when my pain is the worst). She also sat with me for a long time, asking lots of questions about my history and health and took notes. She said that my health issues are complex. She also said she would review and investigate to get a complete picture and provide the best treatment. She was thorough, patient, transparent, and warm. If you're truly having pain issues and need more attention/answers than your primary care doctor will provide, I recommend Dr Karen P. I appreciate that she's local. It's hard on me to drive to Sacramento for doctor appointments.”

“We visited for the furniture store portion of the small business. Only one friendly sales man working during the weekday we visited and he was busy. Good selection of quality sofas, recliners, lamps, tables, and mattresses. I've decided to give 4 stars due to the fact that the estimated time/day of furniture delivery quoted was WAY off. Couch was previously ordered before we came in and purchased, 2-4 weeks out from being available. We were told once that arrived we'd be getting the matching love seat, in stock locally, and couch delivered in approximately 4 weeks. We called back at week 4 and were told by a different sales person it would be 8 weeks. Not a huge problem, I realize things occur beyond control, but it seemed misleading, especially without a courtesy call explaining any unforseen delays. Overall, I'd recommend, but be wary of delivery quotes/sell tactics.”

“I encourage anyone reading reviews to remember that most reviews posted are about negative experiences. For some reason, folks aren't as inspired to post positive reviews. Not only did the emergency room doctor on duty 1999, the night that I was brought in with an AVM (brain aneurysm) save my life by arguing with Kaiser and life flighting me to UC Davis, but now I believe that they have saved my mother's life as well. She was in Mercy General in Sac, days from death, when we fought, cried, and begged to have her moved back to Sutter Amador Hospital. In less than 12 hours, she was showing signs of improvement. And now, 3 days later, she is strong enough to start rehab. Still gravely ill, but we Can talk to her and hear her wishes and and make her next few weeks or months much more comfortable and happy. In my opinion, Sutter Amador Hospital ROCKS!”

“Downtown Sutter creek right on a corner. Parking is either on the street or a parking lot 3 doors down. The building is roomy broken into different rooms, I sat near the back. The server Cayce was super cool, never in need of anything as she came by often to see how you were doing. I ordered the country breakfast with a biscuit and gravy an OJ, coffee and I will say honestly the biscuit and gravy are very good. The breakfast comes with standard fair, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, meat (bacon) and bread - at a little extra you can order a home made English Muffin. Those were good, they are not sourdough. I briefly spoke with the owner Michelle, she gave a bit of history on the building. I will just say it has a bit of colored past, ask her she would be more than happy to show and speak about it. I left there stuffed. Couldn't eat all the food. Thanks for the excellent breakfast.”

The owner Chad custom designed a unit that accommodated the solar panels, battery box and the tower base that can be pulled onto a trailer and taken to another site! And recently we needed some pipe and fab work for a solar powered surveillance system and their steel prices were fair and it was done promptly. Nice to deal with other professionals who care and Chad even helped us outside of the fab process. He has a background in construction and his ideas helped simplify our work.. “Bottom line is this is a place offering a generous portion of food for great price. While the environment has room for improvement, the staff is warm and welcoming. Other patrons appeared happy to be here. I had a shrimp taco (pictured below), it had huge chunks of shrimp in a decent size tortilla. It was fresh and surprisingly good. I also had a Carne asada burrito (forgot to snap a picture). The steak was flavored very well, each bite or steak was well seasoned. Word or warning, this burrito is NOT tiny. Their wings are also yummy...tasty little breaded bites or chicken with a kick. We will be coming back.👍”
