(May 11, 2016, 1:31 pm)I love it there!! I'm taking guitar lessons and my son has taken trumpet lessons as well. Amazing teachers. Patient and knowledgeable and really nice. I'm having great experiences so far.. Next year my son wants to change to the also sax and we will be going there for lessons. We are very happy with them. Also great staff as well, they were also very knowledgeable about their music. Always very pleasant too. 5 star place in my opinion.
(February 24, 2015, 4:11 pm)I have been going to Gill's for several years now, since before they moved to current location. I have always found their staff to be friendly and helpful. I have 7 guitars, electric and acoustic. They are the only people other than myself I trust to re-string and tune my instruments, including 2 12 string guitars. I recently outfitted my grand daughter who is a budding alto sax player. They had everything we needed, hard case, cleaning tool, shoulder strap, mouth piece, various parts, and song books. Not the herd mentality you find at Guitar Center. Overall great folks.

I said some harsh things and was wrong to do so. besides the lack of brands this store is great. staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. its nice to have a local music shop when you need something fixed or some helpful info. and the guitars they do carry are great starter instruments and very fairly priced. anyone looking to learn to play an instrument I recommend you visit gills music first! they have a lot of other instruments too. cool shop to have in Antioch,
