(October 13, 2018, 5:37 pm)Nice climb from Clayton all the way into Black Diamond Mines Park. Hike as an out an back on the same dirt road. All up hill from Clayton side. About 6 or 7 parking spaces at trail head. Dogs okay off leash except at parking lot but beware our dog always picks up a bunch of small round sharp stickers that we have to stop and pull out 3 or 4 times during the hike. Bring water!

(August 8, 2017, 12:18 pm)Great views! Took us about 5 hours round trip. From Clayton to Antioch and then back. We packed a picnic, read the signs about the history of the area & took time to enjoy the views. Moderate difficultly.
(June 3, 2017, 4:01 pm)So peaceful and beautiful. Only slight incline. Gravel trail. Small parking lot. Dogs off leash is allowed.
