Refugio Valley Park

This is a very peaceful park. The kids had a great time on the play structures. Got to see the Geese and the ducks.

Nostalgia. Growing up in Hercules, the main playground feature of the park was the long concrete slide that you could ride down in jeans or pants (it would be a bad idea if you did) or ride down on a big sheet of cardboard. The top of the structure had a series of plumbers tubes designed to be climbed on. These days, there's a much-better designed playground for young toddlers and older toddlers. Walks around the park are still peaceful. A walk from and to the park along Refugio Valley Road is about two miles round trip from the park to the roundabout. Park benches are present for a picnic/family gatherings. Lots of water fowl. Pleasant park.

Great park. 2 different play structures in between a large grass field. Walking or biking path around entire area. Hidden creek to explore. Public restrooms. Duck pond. Large parking area with handy cap parking and access.

Perfectly serene location @ RVP, where they have many types of birds, including ducks & geese to feed on the rippling water - willow trees overhead, nearly touching the glassy water! We enjoyed feeding these hungry creatures * now, time for some fun badminton on the lush, green grass!

Amazing place...have a few kind of animal...turtles and ducks...big for good walk you can ride bike too.have two play ground for your kids, have some tables and bank...have two big green zones...i like this place the big trees...
