(February 22, 2019, 6:21 pm)A scenic spot in the oil refinery district of the Bay Area - many different types of birds, busy on bird business, and palm trees to see with dates growing on them. Out in the bay there's large ocean going ships to admire, and, now and then from the nearby railroad yard, you can hear that ol' lonesome freight train whistle blow.

(January 14, 2019, 4:56 pm)Beautiful park. Nice views of the water and surrounding area. Pier for fishing. Trails for walking. Lots of birds to see.
(November 20, 2018, 7:20 pm)We had a blast for our first time here. Restrooms were clean, bait shop within walking distance, and we were able to catch some bass and sturgeon. Sturgeon tag needed. Free fishing off pier.

Cute shops and restaurants. New restaurant called TROY it's a Greek place, great food and service! Antique stores, nice hair salons, coffee houses, Frozen Yogurt Shop, Two Jays Pizza by the slice or by the pie, very reasonable 5.00 daily slice meal deal; Downtown Martinez Events are posted right outside Starbucks for the upcoming seasons. Farmers Market every Sunday from 10 a - 2 p. Luigi's Deli, Lemongrass, just to name a few, lots of things to see and do.
