  Dr Longton is the best, however his partner in Pleasanton, treated me three times and then promised a follow-up the following Monday, that was 3 weeks ago, no return call and I have left multiple messages for a return call, his assistant always has an excuse, Dr. Shinamen seemed competent, but he's absolutely terrible for follow-up, I would think twice about doing business with Shinamen, Dr. Longton is the best, he cares, he does follow-up, he needs to give lessons to Shinamen.

  I have a lot of respect for both Dr. Longton and Brook, his physicians assistant. I see Brook every month and she is so sweet and pleasant. Most important to me is that she listens, she has provided me with support for my back and both knees that are painful. I’ve listened to her advice many times. I can ask her about pain medicines and she is always straight up with me, gives me alternative suggestions and accepts my decision to stay with what I have. She has injected my always painful neck, and believe me, she is very good at them, no pain. Dr. Longton is very through and I have positive experiences at the surgery center, they are also extremely professional.

  The Pain Medicine Specialist Facility is very welcoming and everyone is so kind. After my injury I was referred to this clinic and got to meet the Office Manager. She gave me comfort by helped me understand what the doctors and staff do to care for their patients. Although the office is very busy diligently working to heal the folks that come through the door, I have always received the best care. My injuries have sometimes overwhelmed me, and the the staff is always there with kind smiles and encouragement. Dr Kalra, Dr Longton and Dr Shinaman at their Pleasant Hill location are the right doctors to help people with the right skills to achieve healing in a warm comfortable environment. 5 Stars

  From the welcome and help given by the front desk to the wheelchair limo ride to my car I couldn’t have asked for better. My nurse was Shawna and she was knowledgeable and kind. Dr.Longton is the best. He is a surgeon with a great bedside manner thrown in. My pain level on the day of and day after is being taken care of nicely with Tylenol. My confidence in Dr Longton as well as BASS Surgery Center is as high as it goes.

  I’m so grateful for Dr. Longton and Brooke Aber. I see Brooke once a month for my neck. I’ve been with PMC for 15 years to manage my degenerated discs in my neck. Brooke has been amazing and so helpful. She’s very knowledgeable and takes the time each visit to cover anything and everything I am feeling in my neck as well as concerns. Dr. Longton does my epidural injections a couple times a year and he is wonderful !!!
