We have had our two kids (ages 1 yr and nearly 4 yrs) enrolled at A Child's Place since May/June and we have been delighted with our decision. The quality of care, open communication, and flexibility/understanding that Cherysse and her team have are exceptional. The space is lovely and I can honestly say that everyone there truly enjoys spending time with kids. It feels like a loving home, which it is! We feel very fortunate to have found A Child's Place!
Cherysse is THE BEST! After my mom was no longer able to keep up with our very active 18 month old, the search for the perfect child care was on. After visiting several locations, classroom and home setting both, we decided on The Wonder School with Cherysse and her other family members who help her with the kids.
Cherysse and her daughters are the most loving, caring, open minded, smart, wondeful, and happy people!! My son loves going to hang out with them all day and is already learning all sorts of new words, activities, skills, and manners.
Its always hard as a new mom to leave your child with a stranger for the first time. After some tears (from both my son and I) on the first day, Cherysse made me and my son feel so comfortable and welcome and made the transition much easier than I was expecting. She kept me updated through out the day in the first week and sent pictures of my son having fun with his new friends. She really put my mind at ease and made me feel like he was in the great hands. He also loved all the new toys and books to explore. ( If you child loves books, this the place for you. Cherysse's family owns an independent bookstore in Oakland, so she has TONS of books for the kids and loves to read!!)
Cherysse has a special light that shines through her, always greeting us with a smile and a hug. She is a magical, sweet, and amazing mother and caregiver. Her daughters are also great kids and you can immediately tell they have a great relationahip with one another. You can tell they are a very tight knit family and feel the love the give one another. We feel so lucky to have found this place and these beautiful people!!!
Anyone would be lucky to have Cherysse as a care giver for their child. I hope you get the oppprtunity to experience her love and light!!
