(December 13, 2018, 11:59 pm)As usual East Bay Regional Parks works very hard at this park. There are hiking trails, biking trails, a pristine Creek, kids play structures, restrooms and sweeping views from the upper trails.

(November 10, 2018, 5:19 pm)Really nice. Plenty of space. Need to bring back the swings. Other than that, perfect for parties, bbqs, etc. Working water fountains and bathrooms are always nice.

(October 7, 2018, 11:13 pm)Great park for hiking, walking dogs, picnics and parties. I think Alvarado park hits all the marks. Clean. Accommodating. Trails are wide and defined. There are 2 large bathrooms. A play structure for kids ages 3-12. I've been having a great time at this park for decades.
