School of Rock

Excellent place to learn music and their new studio location in San Ramon is amazing! Clean, organized, large, and VERY cool! It is also set up to protect the students and staff from COVID.

I am so grateful to School of Rock. In these exceptionally challenging times, their friendly staff, remote lessons, open mic nights, and online activities have been a definite bright spot and provided a welcome distraction for my child during a year of sheltering in place and not seeing friends due to the COVID pandemic.

In addition to navigating technical hurdles and adaptations to keep music accessible to students remotely, they have invested heavily in their business to create new spaces with strict protocols so that students can safely practice and perform together.

I am incredibly grateful for this amazing community and am proud to support this local business and their instructors who share our passion for music.

It's remarkable how quickly and efficiently SOR was able to adapt to these changing times. I'm still able to get the instruction I need remotely and it's still top notch and always helpful.

Love the dedication and ability from the instructors. They are innovative, positive and bring so much enthusiasm to each lesson or performance practice. The instructors have all worked so hard during COVID and shelter in place. My son LOVES being a part of school of rock!

School of Rock have been an amazingly adaptable business during this challenging year. And I could not rate the remote classes more highly. Out of all the after school activities my kids did they were the first to acknowledge they would close down their physical location and were up and running with a remote class before we could even blink. I was a little unsure about the remote class when I signed up my son but I was so impressed with how they handled the challenging environment I wanted to support them. We have never looked back! My son is in Miss Miranda's class and he has been so engaged and excited to join. The class length is perfect at 30 minutes, it was so smart of the school to split remote sessions into two 30 minute sessions rather than the hour we did at the physical location. Each lesson is fun, engaging and full of music. At the end of each lesson whilst I am working next door I hear my son rocking it out with Miss Miranda! We were so pleased that a new session has been added this week, making three Rookie classes, so my son can continue on with his passion and still fit in school. Thanks, Hayden, Bekah and Miss Miranda for bringing music and joy to my son each week! We look forward to going back to being in person, but for now, remote is just perfect!
