“Sunrise does an amazing job caring for people with memory issues. We don't have the patience that they do on a daily basis. My mother-in-law fought us and people at the facilitiy tooth and nail with quite a vocal mouth her first two weeks. The staff was amazing with making her feel welcome and helping her adjust. She has been there 2 1/2 years now and loves it, loves the routine and the activities. I'm not sure why one review said there wasn't enough food. They go out of there way to assist residents and have plenty of food, will deliver trays to your room if you don't feel like going down for a meal and have snacks and drinks 24/7 for residents and there guests downstairs at the bar. They will also provide food when asked and have beautiful events that include family members. I would encourage anyone who has a loved one developing memory issues to move here. The staff is terrific friendly, caring and know how to deal with residents who all have different needs and levels of care. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful place like this for our mom.”
