Next to the ROV is one of the giant Whirly Cranes used during WWII at the Kaiser Shipyard to construct Liberty & Victory ships. There is a nesting pair of ospreys that build a nest to raise a new brood each spring until they are fledged in late Summer. You often can see the parents feeding fresh caught fish to their chicks. You can not get closer elsewhere to observe ospreys along the shoreline.”
