“While driving down San Pablo searching for something new to eat, El Tazumal Restaurant caught my eye. There was a decent sized parking lot right next to the restaurant so no need to fight or search for parking. Upon entering you can seat yourself or order takeout. The menu features a variety of Mexican and Salvadorean dishes, seafood included. And the waitress was very helpful and always ready to help us. The meals we ordered were delicious, full of flavor. I look forward to visiting again soon. Also when paying there's a variety of Salvadorean snacks and items available for purchase.”

“Love, love, love this place. I have spent 15 years in the pizza business and this restaurant by far has some of the best sauce and toppings out there. For health reasons, my wife and I went vegan for years ago and every once in a while, we have a cheat. It was my birthday and we brought another couple there, and I had to order the pesto, pepperoni, and sausage pizza. For me this taste combination is absolutely the best. I often dream about going back there again and I’m so glad I did. Always good service and the food comes out quick. They are a good staple to the area and I hope they never leave. When I’m ready for a cheat again, I will come back for the same pizza.”

“I placed my order online at California Pizza Kitchen, Walnut Creek the previous day for pick up and overall had positive experience. Since I chose to pick up my order at 11 am I arrived 5 mins in advanced. I was pleased to see that the place opened minute by minute sharp at 11 and I was welcomed in by manager. I got my delicious whole red velvet cake(12 peaces for $70+$6.48 tax) sealed and securely packed in a carton box and a paper bag. Parking is easy in the garage next door or street parking $2 per hour. Interior is fresh, spacious, clean and modern. Only concern that a girl/cashier could’ve been friendlier. Anyway I can’t wait to come again and dine in to try their pizzas.”

“I've finally gotten around to visiting this place after following them on social media. It's a small place that's more appropriate for takeout rather than dining in. Very clean establishment and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We decided to walkin and order rather than ordering online. We had to wait for about 10-15 mins or so after placing our order, which isn't bad considering they had a steady stream of customers picking up food or ordering takeout like us. If you're pressed for time, I would suggest ordering online. We brought our food home and it was very good. We had the garlic noodles and pork sisig with, of course, the pork lumpia. We split it between 3 people and still had leftovers. My husband had the gulaman refresher drink. We thought it was good and not too sweet. Great small business to support. We'll be back again.”

The Wakame for a mere $4 was enough for two as was the spicy Edamame for not much more. The salmon sashimi combination was a full meal in itself and the salmon was excellent in terms of taste and texture. The Misaka roll is popular for a reason and is an explosion of taste if you can handle a little wasabi and take a whole piece at once. We are world travelers and quite discerning when it comes to restaurant food. This one is a keeper!”

Came with 3 different types of seafood (mussels, shrimp, and crabs), also came with sausage, potatoes, and corn. This is one of the best seafood boil I’ve tasted. I used to drive to San Jose to get sea food boil now we have one in the area, I’m so glad they opened here. I totally recommend this place. There is an option to dine in or dine out (outside dinning available). Looks like a fun place to celebrate birthdays. The price is not bad at all for the amount of food you get. The service is fast and the people are friendly. Oh I had an expired coupon and they still let me use it. How cool is that? I saved $10 on my purchase! “I went here yesterday right when they opened. It was my first time. I ordered the burrito de bistec regular and the crispy taco de pollo. Wow, yum. The burrito was the star, so juicy and packed with fresh cilantro and what I think may have been garlic. They were both really good though. I also want to add that the girl who was working was such a ray of sunshine. She was so warm and kind. She even made me some containers of salsa verde when I didn't see there was a salsa bar. “Was craving the crispy patty burgers of Mooyah, but it’s far from me so I decided to just get McDonalds. I passed by this place and read “Best Burgers,” so why would I settle for less? I checked and the reviews were good. The place is a classic simple diner. The wait isn’t even 5 minutes. I ordered the fries, jalapeño poppers, and mushroom burger with extra bacon. The staff members are so polite, helpful, and kind. Everything was hot and fresh. You can see them cooking it. The fries are crispy and full. The beef patty definitely had the grilled taste and was so juicy. It was dripping. The burger was so big and thick. The burger lives up to its name, Best Burgers. Better than In-N-Out. It’s around as big as a BK Whopper but thicker. The jalapeño poppers were big, too, and the cheese was oozing and melting. I found a new place for my cheeseburger cravings.”

“Found Tommy's on Google, we drove 1 hour to eat here. Reviews were great, pictures looked awesome. Location was very cool, right in the waterfront. They share the inside with another food establishment and a bar. Very open and very friendly. Food was ordered and it came within 5min. 1st food impression, looks and smelled delicious. We got the 3meat combo (2 brisket and ribs with mac and cheese and potato salad)and added the sweet corn and a Key Lime piece slice and banana something cake slice. Brisket was awesome, it had great color and great flavor, ribs were well done, rub was sweet and spicy and the sauce added another layer of flavor. Tommy the owner is a passionate pit master, he took a few minutes to talk to a bbq geek. Thank you for those few minutes, I appreciate that. Tommy's BBQ should be a place for you, try it all, the loaded potato is a must, loaded is the a perfect description.”
