“Ive been shopping with Rick Hudson Estate liquidation for years. The Hudson team is highly professional and is probably one of the most seasoned and knowledgeable in the San Francisco Bay Area. Recently Rick expanded his business to include the ESTATE FURNITURE STORE. The store sells a fast moving selection of gently used furniture that range from vintage to antique . On the first day he opened I purchased a sweet teak Danish Modern rocker at a very fair price. At his store you can not only find Mid Century Modern but also Art Deco, Victorian, Industrial as well as classic traditional furniture too. They sell lighting and many decorative things to hang on your walls. If your on the hunt to find interesting things for your home always try to drop into Ricks shop because you never know what's going to turn up.”

“I happened upon this vendor at Oakland's Lakeshore Saturday Farmer's Market. I am half Turkish and have to have a baklava if I see one. I have been searching for the best one in California. The choices of baklava was the regular layered type with pistachio or the rolled type with pistachio. They also have a chocolate phyllo dough! So a "chocolate baklava" with pistachios. I chose the rolled plain baklava. I could not resist not opening the package before I got home!I large 12 piece. I remember chatting with the friendly women working there about being Turkish..but they did tell me the phyllo dough I believe was freshly made I think at their bakery and the baklava's are soooo fresh and crunchy maybe because of fresh dough!. That sold me. Many baklava's I have had from store bought to restaurant do not taste fresh once they have to be sitting on a shelf for days or in a restaurant. The sugar syrup either makes the dough soggy or they just have a " stale" taste. Baklava is not a good shelf sitter! But this baklava...I want more of. This is THE BEST baklava I have bought in the Bay Area, and I have tried many...oh my goodness...no problem giving a"5.0" I loved " the crunchiness, the freshness, the light sweetness....the size of it." It was not so sweet you could not handle all that sugar syrup....this was the most perfect baklava I have had in a long time. I am in Baklava heaven!!!!Thank you Simurgh Bakery!!!!!”

“Customer service here is phenomenal! Jenny went above and beyond in terms of helping me today. She spent hours trying to figure out why the system wouldn’t take my gift card but in the end her perseverance won and somehow she got the transaction to work. I truly have never experienced such dedication from an employee anywhere and I will definitely be coming back here. Thanks Jenny!!”

“Lee is the best, I've been a customer of his for many many years, and have bought quite a few IK's off him, along with an early RMT bucket boat, all of which have served me well. The thing I like about The Boat People the best, is that whenever I would call in an order, it's always been like talking with an old friend. Although it's been a while since I've had to make such a call, in a few minutes I'll be placing a quick on-line order as there's a couple of simple odds and ends I now need. Highly recommended for all one's inflatable boat's needs. The picture which I have included is of me and my partner when we were out doing wildlife rescue, in this case a swan that was hooked in the face, and tangled in fishing line. *Both of these IK's are mine. Also - Lee only sells proven items, so you do not ever have to worry about buying something that's going to not work out for ya, and if you are not sure about something, all you need to do is give him a call, and he will make sure all your questions are answered and point you in the right direction.”

“Simply awesome work. Turned the massive hole in our ceiling into even better than before our water leak. Then took it a step farther and did some touch up work on our wall with our leftover paint even though it wasn't part of the job. Really easy to work with, prompt, and a breath of fresh air after dealing with other contractors and painters.”

“Look out now! Some really impressive changes have come to Acapulco. The quality and selection have improved. The way its organized and displayed has improved, the customer point of sale aspect is friendly, prices are ringing up consistently, and accommodations for deliveries are easier to arrange. This is a whole new soil yard and I am very impressed. Well done Acapulco, keep it up!”

“Incredible! I called Mr. Martin in need of advise on a house that was jointly owned by my now ex-husband and I that per the divorce agreement was to be put solely in his name over 2 1/2 years ago. I received paperwork Monday from the ex about the property and it being refinanced. While looking it over I realized that the paper work would release me from the land deed but did not make me any less responsible for the bank payment! I call Mr. Martin's office and was answered by him personally! Within 2 hours of our conversation he had spoke to my ex-husbands attorney and had the appropriate paperwork filed with all parties the courts! Mr. Martin was prompt, knowledgeable, honest, helpful and did all of it at a great price. I would highly recommend him to everyone!!!”

“The service at the Danville Big O Tires have always been good and reliable. We’ve been taking all our vehicles for many years and they’ve consistently delivered excellent service. Ryan helped me recently and he was very knowledgeable, patient, and spent the extra time to identify the problem. He was able to order the part and repair the car on the same day without any delays. Thank you Ryan and your team for making sure that the vehicle is safe to drive.”

“Finally a place that has both wonderful raw hair and excellent customer service. The Moore Standards owner, Brooklyn, helped me tremendously to pick out the best raw Cambodian hair that would work best for me. I am very picky, being someone that has worked in hair sales before and I know my expectations are very high but Mrs. Brooklyn exceeded my expectations with her patience and willingness to help me. I know many places that sale hair but she sales hair and truly desires to make her customers happy. I am so thankful for this company and the quality of hair they provide. If you want the best quality hair and customer service, you need to check out Moore Standards Hair boutique!!!”

“We like 7-11. But I have a problem with this one particularly. There's an unexpected car hazard near the side door that looks like a baby tree. I met it last New Year's night. I wasn't intoxicated. Be careful with the green concrete bollards around the little tree. Don't park too close next to them and forget about the second one. I turned in too sharp and put a huge dent into my fender. Had to replace it. Huge trouble and a few hundred dollars. My fault I know. The problem is with my expectations, coming in from out of town. I was looking at getting around a tiny tree, which I could see, not a 5 foot square bollard-protected plant area. But maybe some yellow and black caution tape around the middle of the bollard would signal that the less observant should pay attention. Because the bollard is very easy to overlook if you're backing up. Or an orange caution flag on a pole? If you're committed to the tree it could be worth it. However, I don't see that the tree is really adding something necessary. If it has to be protected on all four sides, doesn't that mean it's in the way? Isn't a parking lot for cars, not tree? If there was a curb, you could still protect the tree, and unobservant drivers could feel going up on the curb, and the tires could take it instead of hitting a bollard that's hard to see at night and folding their fender around it? Or if the bollards were added because someone hit the tree, isn't that telling you the tree is the problem?”
