“The Indian restaurant in the back of Bottles is seriously the best!!! It’s crazy that not many people from India come here but rather frequent Vik’s Chaat. Maybe they haven’t heard of Bottles yet and hopefully run across my review. My friend said it taste like his grandma’s cooking. They are from India. I love the saag paneer, Rogan Josh, eggplant and butter chicken!!! Not too crazy about the okra. The naan is super buttery and delicious. Excited to try all their other dishes!!! When they bring them to the table, you can feel they are teeming with Life. Again, I don’t know why more people from India don’t frequent this restaurant and store. It is mainly enjoyed by heavy-set Americans who come to the bar to watch sports (sad puppy face). Help spread the word that this is the best Indian restaurant in the Bay Area and beyond!!! The best.”

“Loved the store. They have maintained and arranged the plants very beautifully. The staff is nice and answers your questions, unlike some other nurseries where you have no one to ask any query. The prices were also reasonable compared to other nurseries. At least equivalent, I'd say. The experience you'll get here is more professional. We got really nice daisies and other perennial flowers. The best thing was that most plants didn't have any health risk warning. I had visited another nursery where almost every plant had a cancer and reproductive health warning, and nobody could answer what that really means from a buyer's perspective.”

“Very cute and clean shop. Young woman working the front was so warm and happy. She was a joy to chat with. The senorita bread can AND WILL cause a problem because they are SO DELICIOUS! They are served warm, they are buttery sweet little pockets of love and you really gotta make sure to get enough because you inhale them and look down in your bag and somehow have devoured them in a blink of an eye. “Mares and Dow replaced 15 existing skylights on our tile roofed home. Replacement was tricky as sizes had changed slightly since their installation 25 years earlier. Jimmy and Vincent’s workmanship was expert and they took on these issues and resolved them completely. The original skylights never looked as good as the replacements. This can partly be attributed to the care they showed in finishing off the interior wells. In addition, the work ethic they displayed while here was impressive. Each day they arrived at the time they had given us, went right to work and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. We have never been as favorably impressed with a contractor as we were with Mares and Dow. They are the best! We are so happy we hired them!”
