“I've been bringing my dogs to this kennel for over 10 years 3 or 4 times a year. My dogs love it and they love the people here. I've never had a problem at all. They are super accomodating, always fit me in, always feed whatever diet I have my dogs on-even when it was raw food (which can be a PITA). I've come to know the people who watch over them and I know that my dogs are well cared for. When I come to pick them up they are happy to see me, but always stop to give the manager a goodbye kiss.”

She continually goes above and beyond what you'd expect and always presents both conservative and more aggressive treatments for illnesses. She's up front about costs and willing to work with you to manage your pet's care within your budget. She treats my animals like her own pets. “This place was a Godsend! We had experienced a very difficult and heart wrenching situation with our family dog. We had to have him put down and although we were not a current patient we stopped in to talk with them. We had been out of town camping and as we were traveling home we decided to stop in at Pleasant Hill to see if they could assist us. They were extremely sensitive to our high emotions and knew this was difficult for us. They talked with us, they really went the extra mile making phone calls (due to the details of our situation) and we had never been there before. They handled it with such care for our dog and us. We left that day in awe of their kindness. We said we would actually travel the 45 min one way to use them as our regular vet. Amazing staff, we Thankyou more than you’ll ever know!”

“Each and every time I’ve had to go to this shelter I’ve had a great experience with everybody I’ve spoken with. The front desk people are super nice and helpful and they do everything they can to accommodate you, the volunteers in the back also are friendly and helpful. I’ve had to surrender one of my dogs in the past I’ve adopted cats they’re on different occasions. And every time has been good. This shelter in particular is busy and they have a lot of in and out flow daily. I appreciate them and what they do!”
