“We have been very happy with Gan Ilan, having started when we moved here in the middle of the school year. The program is largely student-led, allowing children to follow their interests. The teachers are incredibly supportive, the administrative staff is attentive, and we have found the entire community to also be open and friendly. In addition to the indoor classroom setting, they have an amazing garden space, allowing the kids to play outside and learn about nature. Overall, we're very happy with our experience here.”

“I just read the ONE bad review given on this school and cannot believe it. My daughter goes to CCJDS and absolutely loves it. Just like the child mentioned in the poor review - we put our daughter here after extreme bullying at her former school. What she found was acceptance, guidance and friendship. CCJDS is a home away from home - a community and a school - not to mention the fantastic education and spiritual element. I look forward to the years to come at CCJDS, and I cannot wait until my younger child is ready for her K-8 at CCJDS. We simply could not have asked for a better school or a better fit. If you are looking for a Jewish Day School in the Bay Area, I strongly recommend you come and tour. ”

With her guidance, advice, support and understanding, i have incorporated healthy, effective communication skills into my life which have helped me succeed in my workplace and my personal relationships. Jana has been there for me for regularly scheduled appointments, short notice appointments, and even emergency phone calls. She is very flexible with scheduling, as well as setting up couples or family appointments (i've had my dad come to a couple sessions). Jana has been a major blessing in my life and i know i would not have been able to come this far, and grow so much without her support. I would highly recommend her to anyone. ”

“One of the better gas stations you'll find, but their gas prices are not the cheapest. To their credit, they do have clean squeegee and soap and paper towels stocked. In the morning you'll see someone cleaning and sweeping. Restrooms are on the outside and you'll need a key so if you must and someone's in there, walk next door to Burger King.”
