  I have been to a lot of vets. Most aren't good.
  This place is on point. Very grateful for them taking care of my dogs procedures that other vets couldn't do at a fair price. Dr. Consol is fantastic and Dr Joe is great also. I recommend this vet hosp highly.

  Very grateful they saved us from having to go to emergency when one of our dogs starting bleeding from his digestive system. They offer curbside service for social distancing which I think is great. It's a large practice and that might be its strength that they have extended hours and plenty of staff available. Very grateful that the treatment they provided helped and he's completely fine now.

  Whenever we have brought one of our cats to Care First we have had top-notch medical care given in a compassionate and professional way. We’ve had experiences with multiple vets at this practice and the quality of care has been consistently high. Would highly recommend them for routine care as well as more urgent needs. They’re great!

  Moved to North Carolina awhile back and it's so hard finding a good vet that isn't terrified of my dog since he's VERY aggressive. Dr. Gordon and his team were able to give him his shots and check up and my dog even warmed up to one of the techs before I left, which was really surprising to me. I'm just happy they weren't scared of him even with his muzzle on. Makes me really appreciate this place. I never felt rushed, and he went into detail about why he might be aggressive and how to look into possibly resolving it. He didn't try to up sell me with nonsense like a lot of other vets like to do. Definitely happy with this vet!

  The level of personal care by all and the Doctors. Often they are coming out with the pet to your car, and the Doctor is there to ask questions... YES, the Doctor that helped your pet!!!!!
  
  As a BioMedical CEO, I watch very closely, to see who are the best Doctors. All the doctors here are great.
  Customer service is stellar and so is Chloe's groomer is consistently fantastic. Chloe is a service dog and she is not happy when she is not with me. She is very comfortable with everyone taking care of her at Care First. Their medical Equipment is also fantastic too! Dr. Joe makes sure Care First is the best. Thank you, Dr. Joe, and all at care first. You all really care.

  My kids have had an amazing experience at this club. Great family atmosphere, dedicated teachers, and family-friendly monthly fees. After doing practice and tournaments for just a short time, my kids are more confident and able to protect themselves, and have made a ton of friends at the club, too.

  Amazing judo club, low monthly cost, family friendly. The sensei’s volunteer all their time, they are so passionate about this sport and they bring that passion every practice. Not only do my kids learn about the sport, they’re taught how to respect each and every person around them. Highly recommended!!

  Great instruction by highly qualified senseis and very family friendly. Tough to find a better deal for the low monthly cost.

  THE FEE:
  I've been going to this dojo for the last 7 years and now my son is going too and it's for a reasonable fee of $30/month (can't beat it anywhere around here!!) almost like a gym membership with twice the workout and you get to learn something.
  THE SENSEI:
  The senseis (one of them is a 9th degree black in Judo, not found anywhere else in the Central Valley) are very knowledgeable in the art and numerous activities are done to help prepare students to advance in the art. The students compete at tournaments throughout CA year round from local to junior national level and at least 1 student wins top 3 in their weight class from every tournament.
  THE DOJO:
  Pros: The current dojo is big enough to house 2 judo ring, which is an improvement from their previous location. It also comes with a few weight bench, etc...
  Cons: The place is not climate control. There's no A/C for the summer only fans! There's no heater for the winter only patio heater but I guess it's fine if you are working out.

This past Saturday we took a road trip down to Fresno for the Haruo Imamura tournament hosted by Fresno State and Fresno Judo Club. We had four competitors - Jackie Chan, Addison Howe, Christine Redor and Basil Farooq competing in Brown belt and novice divisions.
