  Best fried chicken in town, the only problem is it’s in a bad sort of town and the inside is tiny with only few tables. The food is by far the best soul food in Fresno and you can’t get food like this anywhere else in Fresno but at Chef Paul’s therefore making it very exclusive. This is the only location and they close early. So get in line and enjoy the chicken!

  For those of you who don’t like the service, go elsewhere. I don’t work here nor do I stand to gain anything from this review. What y’all fail to realize is, soul food takes DAYS to prep and cook. Your cornbread may not always be oven-hot but IT’S ALWAYS FRESH. Appreciate the fact that a TOP SHELF CHEF, is delivering TOP SHELF COMFORT food, to a location near you.

  Fried green tomatoes is what brought me here today! We had the fried chicken, ribs, tri tip salad and sides. Also ordered the cobbler but we have not got to that yet! The flavors were very interesting! Service was very nice! Hoping to return once we can actually eat in!

  At the moment you step in this restaurant the stuff gives you a good feeling. Very friendly stuff, it is a friendly place to to go out with buddies or with your date. yummy cuisine, qualified chief cook and stuff, decent cost and excellent service. Highly recommended.

  Best soul food in town. The fried chicken, chili beans and jambalaya were great. The decor inside is a nice southern style. The staff was attentive and friendly. It was a bit expensive but worth it in my opinion. Doesn't look like much from the outside but when you walk in it definitely takes you by surprise.
