(February 27, 2019, 2:07 pm)When our van's starter broke on a road trip a few miles out of Boron, Santiago saved us.
We had our van towed late at night to Romo Auto Repair, and weren't sure if they would be able to help us. The next morning, I explained the problem and that we had a small baby with us and were trying to make an event that evening in Joshua Tree. Santiago was committed to helping us get running and out of Boron that day. He drove over 3 hours that day to find the part we need, and fixed it just in time for us to get to our event. He charged us a reasonable price (given that we were desperate, he didn't try to charge us an unreasonable amount). We were so thankful! He also gave me a ride around town so I didn't have to walk back to my family.
Only suggestion is that it's hard to get on the phone with Santiago and crew -- usually when I called, I got a voicemail. -
