My mother returned to the area nearly eight years ago, but sadly, passed away earlier this month. So, I began looking for a minister to act as officiant for the chapel and graveside services. I drove by VBC but the office was closed, however, the Lord connected me with Pastor Carlos Jerez later and we met at the church to talk about my mother. I felt as if I could instantly relate to Pastor Carlos. He offered words of condolence in a caring way, and provided the spiritual guidance I truly needed. I've stayed at many a Motel 6 where the floors leave your bare feet or white socks black after walking around. But this one was actually clean. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and not worn out. Pillows were fluffy and smelled good. Parking at this location can be hard when it's full, but was okay on a Sunday.”
