I got sent to Bakersfield for a couple months for work this year, while travelling I always keep a good eye out for rare bottles I cant get at home. Greenacres has a great selection and the owners are some of the friendliest folk. They are knowledgeable about bourbon, can give great recommendations and most importantly they care about their regular customers and it shows. “First off, let me say I have a fear of dentists and have stayed away unless absolutely necessary for 25 years from a botched wisdom teeth job. I cant cant go in without something to help my anxiety, and I am a get your job done type of gal, and a mother of 4. Made an appointment because of a cracked front tooth. Knowing I needed at least an upper denture job, Dr R. scheduled the surgery, 12 upper teeth to be removed due to neglect, medication I must take. Told him I needed to be sedated for this job. He said we can't because of precautions taken due to covid, but here's what we will do and explained everything. Day of surgery went better than expected. Amazed he could do this work, with me fully conscious. Amazing dentist, amazing staff. He will be my dentist so long as I live around here! At follow up appointment, he anticipated all of the questions that I had. Go to Dr. R if you are in the market for a legit, excellent caring dental and staff.”

“Being a renter, this is a decent place to live considering the surrounding area. Apartments are Energy efficient ,clean ,pest free and for that I give it 5 stars. In order to rent here, you will have to sign a lease agreement stating that you agree not to park your vehicle in the driveway and to not allow visitors to park their vehicle in the driveway allowing your vehicles to be towed away. You will be waving your protective rights under California law that would protect you from predatory towing practices. There is an exclusive company ironically named Nobles towing patrolling the area. You are allowed to load and unload in the driveway, but the moment you leave the vehicle unattended you are putting your hard earned income at risk. There is a repossessors type tow truck That will hookup to your vehicle in a matter of seconds And take your vehicle. You may be expecting to pay $370.00 or more to get your vehicle back. Please do your part to make sure that Nobles towing gets NO revenue from our community. Don’t let yourselves or your visitors be the next victim’s of Nobles towing.”

“This is my favorite location of all. I live pretty much across the street from them. Drinks are always well done and very good. But, today we got new straw made of cardboard, instead of the regular orange plastic ones. I get they want to help the environment, but, I couldn't drink from it. My drink taste it like cardboard. I was very disappointed since, I couldn't drink it comfortable. So, I was going to go do my errands and decided to go home instead to get a plastic straw from my plastic cups at home. I think they should have both kinds and give the customer the option to choose.”
