“Today was my first time ever going here. This place is a God send. My frames from another place broke, and I definitely can't go without my glasses. I brought them into this office to see if I can purchase just frames that fit my lenses since I can't afford new lenses right now. The lady at the front desk told me she'll see what they have. After a bit of a wait she came back with my lenses in a new frame. I asked how much I owed. She said "Nothing, they're free. They're a pair of donated frames." Everyone donating their still usable frames really needs to be a thing everywhere.”

“Julie Franks' office is great. However I don't know about State Farm anymore. I have a hole in my roof and state farm won't help because it didn't instantly happen they say. They say I could of fixed it before it got bad. Like I'm supposed to climb on my roof daily and inspect for damages I cant see between the shingles and wood. Funny , they have no problem taking money monthly, but don't help when it's needed. Julie Franks and her office personnel tried to help , but corporate only wants money.”

“Super nice piece of history here! It has a really old school feeling to it and is well kept up with. We live about 50 minutes from Taft and like to come see movies out here occasionally because of the vibe you get from going to this theater. The main theater room is amazing, it has art work all throughout and the seats are fairly comfortable. From what I've heard, there was a music video shot here in 2018 with music artist, The Weeknd. Great place!”

“Great vendor. Blew out a tire on I-5 at midnight the day after Christmas and 200 miles from home. I was on the shoulder of I-5 on a cold night with cars roaring past. I couldn’t release my spare tire from under the car because Siennas require a special socket which I lost. AAA called a tow truck from Devon’s and the person who came to help (Marco, I believe) was super kind and helpful. He patiently tried two different sets of sockets from his truck to no avail. He finally got an adjustable wrench and somehow was able to wrangle the spare tire free and quickly got us on our way. He also recommended another awesome service nearby (Gutierrez Tire in Lost Hills) that was able to replace my tire (could not make the long distance trip home on small sized spare) at midnight during the Holidays. Thank you Marco and Devon’s Body Shop for saving us that night!”

“I went there and there was never used for any reasons. It seems closed and was not removed with the stuffs. It was left for a long time. Restrooms were closed. Kern regional transit was moved to other new area stop sign waiting area. However, kern regional transit stop sign was there and not removed. Also there is other bus stop sign being not removed. You can check it out as "museum visitor" as what I assume feeling. Not bad design. Very small waiting area not enough room for many people to stand waiting.”

Here at Dave's glass was brought right into the main floor assessed the issue determined this was able to be repaired with the filler compounds & full replacement was not needed. “I honestly can’t believe that the best & my most favorite Best Western would be found in little ole Taft, CA. The rooms are clean, the service is super friendly; Karina and her girls at the front desk are ALWAYS willing to accommodate you with whatever it is you need, the keurig in the main lobby is always stocked & super clean, breakfast is bomb every morning. My family has been frequenting this Best Western for almost 4-5 years now being that our weekends are spent there because it’s so close to the Correctional Facility where my father resides. We travel 7 hours to visit and each weekend is very emotional, so having this Best Western that’s so comfortable to return to makes the trip so much more easier on my family & I. Five Stars, Highly Recommend, Will not be disappointed!!”
