(December 28, 2018, 3:11 pm)It was nice picnic tables visitors center camp grounds museum old fire lookout tower the hike to the Flats is all up hill with 3 to 4 well placed benches with great views of Pasadena and all the way to the ocean on a clear day

(November 10, 2018, 12:13 pm)Good, challenging hike. Its about 2.9 mi if you go through walnut trail. Henninger Flats is well kept. Clean area, spacious, and has a great view. The nature center is pretty imformative. Has info about the wildlife in the area, relics and a bit of history.

(August 27, 2018, 11:40 am)Great night view of LA.No drinkable water available, however, we loved this place. Backpack camping after about 3 miles hike, just out from your busy city.Special, thanks to Forester- Johan for his help to our team. Great person with positive, energetic attitude.
