Dr. Bastani is one of the most professional physicians I’ve met. He’s a great listener, asks the right questions, and is genuinely concerned about his patient’s well-being. I dance ballet and I’ve been always suffering from issues in my feet. After following his instructions and advice, I’m very pleased that I no longer have the issues I was dealing with.

We found Dr. K after consulting with a local podiatrist, who was highly rated and recommended by friends. The local doctor was indeed good, and we have no complaints. However, he described a very painful procedure, with a long and difficult recovery, and which would leave 5" scars on each of my wife's feet. She was prepared to undergo this for the sake of resolving her problems, but it was enough to prompt her to do some digging online.

When she discovered Dr. K's YouTube video, she was intrigued, but we were both skeptical. How could it be? And if so, why are not other doctors doing this procedure. However, our further investigation inspired us with confidence, because of all the genuine and positive reviews.

From our first contact, the office staff was courteous, helpful, and willing to address every question in a professional manner. If you've dealt much with medical offices, you know this is not "standard" for front office personnel! Because we would be travelling nearly 400 miles for the surgery, some accommodation and adjustment to their standard protocols were necessary. However, they assured us this would not be a problem, because they have many patients who travel from far away to visit their clinic (another positive indication). They helped us with lodging and scheduling for the procedure and follow up in a way that would be least inconvenient for us.

When we first drove up to the clinic, I must admit, I was a little apprehensive. It is not a fancy office in a high priced medical building. It is a modest, but thoroughly clean and professional, office on a street corner is a somewhat "sketchy" neighborhood. But once inside, any reservations disappeared.

Upon meeting Dr. K, we began to feel even more confident about our decision. He is thoroughly professional, and exudes a kindness and caring that is rarely seen among doctors, and especially among specialists who are in high demand. He is attentive and communicative, and goes to great extents to answer every question at every step, and gave us great advice on how to best prepare for surgery, even as far as suggesting where to find the hard to find pain medication he prescribed, wanting to be sure we would have it on hand after the surgery.

After surgery, he came out to the waiting room and carefully discussed how things went, as well as detailed instructions for after-care. If was a Friday, but he assured me that he would be in his office on Saturday in case anything came up and also told me how to contact him at any hour day or night, if there were any questions or concerns.

As promised, the surgery left only very small scars, maybe 1/2" on each foot, rather than the 5" we had been told about by our local doctor. She was able to walk with crutches, the next day, and her pain has been minimal. On one occasion, I had a question which I emailed to the office, and Dr. K himself replied within a couple of hours with a complete response.

Having the condition of bachrymetatarsia was something I learned to accept and live with. I was ashamed of my condition for so many years. It was not easy growing up in Cancun where sandals are the most common form of footwear. I’m not ungrateful for what I was given in life, but I had a lot of bitter moments that shaped my self-consciousness about my feet. It got to a point where I would even wear socks to go swimming, in an effort to mask my condition I would only draw more attention.
Over the years I learned to cope with it, and knew that there were worst things in life. I had incredible support from my mother, and she helped me realize that many famous people were not hindered by their disability or condition from becoming the people they wanted to be.
About three years ago the pain started to get worse and worse, this year it got to a point that I could only walk for a short time before I had terrible back and knee pain, not to mention my feet felt like they were on fire. I literally felt my heart pulsing through my feet.
When my husband started seeking help for me I remember him saying “I’m going to find someone who could offer you the quality of life you deserve”. I had dreamed and prayed my entire life to hear those words, and knowing that it could be possible was a gift in its own right.
We started doing research about 2 years ago, doctors, hospitals, procedures, places, pictures of before and after, lots of appointments and consultations, after a while I was losing hope. Most doctors wanted to do one foot at a time, and the whole process would take a year or more for a full recovery. This was not the ideal plan for me, bearing in mind that I would have to endure the pain and process twice. Having both feet done in one procedure is not for everyone. You will have to depend on somebody 24/7, and it will change your life 100%. If you ask me it has been as much of an emotional challenge as a physical one, but well worth it. Having support and the right people around you makes a world of difference. In my case my family has played one of the most important roles in my recovery and without them this surgery would not have been possible, I’m very grateful to have them in my life.
When I came across Dr. Khosrobadi, I knew I had found the doctor I’d been looking for. I first saw him on a television program showcasing his work, and I was very impressed with what I saw. Needless to say I was thrilled to hear that he was a local doctor in my area as well. The difference I noticed between Dr. Khosrobadi and the rest of the doctors was his attentiveness and compassion. Always open to questions, and genuinely concerned about his patients wellbeing. It was very important for me to find a doctor that I can relate to in this way. Coupled with the fact that he’s done several hundred of these surgeries gave me the peace of mind I had been looking for.
My husband and I went to his office for my first consultation. We shared all of our concerns, the biggest of course being if whether I could do both feet at once. He precisely explained the procedure, including the pros and cons of doing both feet at once. He invested the time with us, and walked us through what we needed to know. There was no pressure to commit, which was a nice feeling, he educated us on the procedure and his approach to it. I left the office knowing this was the right doctor for me. It is extremely important to be comfortable with your doctor, since the road to recovery is long, and the visits are frequent, every 2 weeks to be exact. Knowing you’re in good hands makes the process a whole lot smoother, I will totally recommend Dr Khosroabadi for any foot situation that you might have, the staff is absolutely friendly and you feel like home!! I will give them 10 stars ratings if i could

My name is Jennifer. I have been a patient of Dr.K's for about 2 years now. My accident 9 years ago injured my foot and ankle so bad that I've had 14 surgeries over the years, 5 of them with Dr.K. I had looked for a few years and have seen many different podiatrists. Dr.K was the only one who took my very complicated case. He was very informative gave me different options. Before every procedure we planned each step we would take through the process of fixing my foot. Dr.K made sure I was comfortable before, during and after each of the 5 surgeries we've done together. My injury left me with a clubbed foot that was 3/4 of an inch shorter on my left side and my leg is fused. Dr.K was able to lengthen my limb and reconstruct my foot with an external fixator. Dr.K also has pinned all 5 of my toes, done 2 bone graphs and inserted a retrograde nail as well. All of which were very painful. During my healing process Dr.K. followed my progress intently and even made a house call. Dr.K made sure I was always in contact with him no matter where he was in the world. Not a single doctor has EVER shown me as much direct communication, respect and compassion as Dr. K has. Dr.K has truly helped me be able to feel better about my injuries and gave me some hope that I could have a some-what normal life. He has fixed more than just my foot. I recommend seeing Dr.K. for any foot problem you may have. He is only one of two doctors that I've heard that even do this type of procedure. DON'T GIVE UP!!!
