  Check-in was quick and efficient. I had some key issues which they promptly fixed. The room was clean and didn't have any issues. The balcony with a view of the ocean was fantastic. It actually had some chairs and a table. Breakfast was a basic plain bagel, some pastries, fruit, and cereal. While not inherently bad, I'd prefer to see some more variety with whole grains mixed in. They also had some dark roast coffee and a Keurig. I'll definitely consider it next time I'm on Catalina, but it didn't blow me away to the point where I'd immediately go back without researching other options.

  Really nice place. Excellent rooms. Loved the fireplace in the room. Ok free breakfast. Not sure way a place this nice wont have a mini refrigerator in it. Would definotly stay here again. Good central location. Nice abd helpful stay. Prompt cleaning of rooms.

  I’m not sure what some of these people were expecting but I have zero negative comments. We have gone here at Christmas for our office party weekend for over 15 years ( only 3 for me ) and it couldn’t be nicer. It’s is directly across the boardwalk from the Marina and the best rooms of course face that direction. There is no ocean on the back side (duh) so the balconies face inward towards the French Quarter shopping courtyard. Very nice with twinkly lights. Staff has always been on top of things. Turn down service with chocolates and fresh towels are nice.
  The only complaint ever was more of a comment, the fireplace seemed to whisper a bit and they couldn’t silence it so they offered us another room and when I declined the offer they sent 2 bottles of champagne to us. ( surprised us with it in the room on ice when we got home for the evening.
  It’s the nicest hotel on the island !

  The hotel is a hidden gem. It is a beautiful hotel with a very friendly staff and great amenities. I will definitely look to stay here again next time I am in Catalina.
