  Great rates and service. I rented a Trek Xcaliber mountain bike on two days in a row. The bike was well suited to the local conditions (dirt roads with some rough patches) and in good working order. Permit from Conservation organization needed to access backcountry but also gives you som discounts, including this place. Fwiw, I did two rides - the first to the airport and back, the second was the loop around the south end of Catalina, coming down to pebbly beach. Both rides ascend stage Rd which is a good workout. From there both rides stay at roughly that altitude with awesome views. Great way to experience the island.
