Snorkeling Catalina

They were diligent with fitting snorkeling equipment and providing instructions before heading out. Wet suit was provided. The guide took time to explain to my BIL what he should expect as he could not swim. He guided us to see lots of different fishes, one huge school and lots of plankton. Mid September, water was warm and clear in lovers cove.

Great first experience with snorkeling. Very patient with all our kids and informative while we were out in the water. I would definitely use this shop again!

Most affordable place to rent gear compared to other snorkeling places in Avalon!
*The only reason why it's not 5 stars is because my bf said the mouthpiece tasted like salt, so we believe they weren't washed after the previous renter. I made sure to wash mine before use.
*Keep in mind they don't have changing rooms so we had our swimsuits on before renting and walked down to lover's cove.
*Tip: put on the wet suit before going down the stairs to lover's cove. It's very Rocky and hard to balance on the rocks when putting it on. Avoid our beginner's mistake! Hope this helps!
