This was based on my experience getting the meat in the SGV.
Got there right before opening. It's hard to find since the home is nestled behind a drive way, and there's no signs in the front. You'll wanna consider driving slow. Parking on the main street is limited when busy.
Once inside, you'll find a table with the sign showing the price of the food. The husband greeted us. Very nice and polite. Sparked up a convo about how we heard about them. The younger son was also cool. Ordered a pound of lamb barbacoa, dozen tortillas, consomé and the head of the lamb. To-go only. Food took about 10 minutes to get.
We ate on the hood of our car outside since we're out-of-towners. The meat was very greasy from the fat, but in a good way. The meat was very fresh. No seasoning besides salt. The tortillas were probably the best handmade tortillas I've had. Not because of the size, but because of how flavorful it was. Literally taste the masa and corn. Perfect in texture. The consomé tasted like an old school remedy your grandmother would make if you were sick. Everything combined made a great taco to eat. The tongue on the head was sooo flavorful. The meat of the brain and cheek were very good.
Overall, if you're a fan of eating meat on its own it's absolutely worth the trip. You really taste the love the family put into this.
Good Mexican food family operated, very clean restaurant I recommend it to you.
But put in mind that this is NOT the barbackush lamb meat place showing in googel search that use to be here but not anymore, those people went out of business, now there are the new taco / burritos restuarant with new owners.

Tried this spot in the past with my friend and I am obsessed ever since. I loved the awesome atmosphere and fresh dishes and beverages. Keep it up.
