  Definitely a cornerstone of the city. It brings so much and yet provides a comfort not many restaurants do.
  I am grateful that someone showed me this lovely location as I will to others.
  I have ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and it is a light but tangy sauce that works well with the meatball. The noodles are just right and the meal is not overwhelmed by the sauce.
  I also recommend ordering the pizza. It's simply a good balance of sauce and cheese.
  
  I will be returning indefinitely as I found my new location for my favorite dish.

  I don't know how I have lived here for almost two years and had not known about this place until now. Growing up Italian in Chicago, I had been disappointed by the Italian options in general around Los Angeles, but I don't have to worry anymore because I can get pretty much any Italian staple I need here from bread to sausage, prosciutto to hot prepared lasagna. They also have a great gelato and Italian pastry case. It's split into a hot food side with a counter and seating, and the deli side. I can't wait to go back so I can try more!

  I love this lil place. I have been coming here since I was a little girl, it has great food and great prices. It does get a bit crowded but totally worth the wait in line. It is old school but I love it.

  Such a great little place to go back in time to enjoy authentic delicatessen foods and sit down for a quick meal. The meats, the cheeses and the breads are a delicious. The variety of items available will set your mind racing as to which to choose and to buy. It's kindof tight with little room to move around other patron's. But we thought it was worth the visit. Prices are very reasonable. Great selection of sandwiches and entrees. Eat-in sandwiches include choice of two salads. Entrees authentic Italian selections. Service is cafeteria style, but lines go fast.
