  Dr. Thuy Nguyen was really fantastic. I had scheduled an appointment based upon reviews I've seen of Dr. Hsu, but Thuy was incredibly knowledgeable, insightful, and thorough in her exam. She likes to talk it up, but it's a pleasant, information-laden discussion which adds confidence to the idea you're getting a top notch exam. I know this sounds superficial, but she has a lovely voice, too. Everything is well articulated and easy to absorb. For some people, that's a big deal. Me, I just require someone who knows what they're doing -- and she easily fits that bill.
  
  The sales department is what it is -- a sales department which probably works off some commission based pay scale, so they'll attempt to up-sell you whenever possible. Just stay firm with what you want, and there's no hassle.
  
  Also, let me be clear in pointing out, the Optometrist is separate from the Sales department.
