Thanks for the tour guys, it was awesome! I really enjoyed it.
Got the full tour. Crew very friendly. Other than the Coke machine being where the radio used to be, station (down to the crew quarters and wooden lockers) looked like it did in the show in 1972.
I'm an OTR truck driver and Vol Firefighter/Paramedic from Nebraska and stopped by there after unloading in Wilmington and got a full tour of the station and great pictures. They were all very polite and informative. Thank you for the great experience. I grew up watching EMERGENCY and the show was one of the reasons I became a Firefighter.
Went to Station 127 for the same reason most people would. The guys were super friendly and gave us a complete tour and answered our questions patiently. They obviously knew a lot about the show and were enthused that people still took an interest in the station. They've kept much just as it was, especially the bunks, bathroom and lockers (yes, they pointed out Johnny and Roy's lockers). It was a great experience. Highly recommended.
It still looked the same inside and out...the young firemen and paramedics had a great knowledge of the show for it being 20 years before they were born!! Gave me a tour...didn't even have to ask...Hope to visit again next time I'm in LA!! The station visit was the highlight of my trip!! Thanks Guys!!!
