(May 23, 2017, 12:19 pm)Year 2000 X'mas I saw a 1/18 scale P-38 on the ToyRus store shelf and I decided to surprise my then 10 years son with it! He was into video games, skateboard and trading, yes! trading - pencils with a sticker, Nintendo games.
So, I kept it (the P-38) for myself and that's how it restarted my previous "life" passion of collecting model airplanes.
The quality and paint scheme of the Merit model craft is excellent and i specially like the larger scale one, every time I look and dust them off reminded me the old day when I was a commercial aircraft mechanic and structure safety inspector.
