The circumstances were extremely stressful for me, but David made himself available, at all hours of the night and was able to free me from being held in custody immediately upon arrival.   These Compton criminal defense lawyers have saved me from conviction several times, with their knowledgeable, thoughtful, and passionate approach to the practice of law and their familiarity with the district attorney staff in Compton Court. David is the BEST... and I can say that, based on my personal experience and interactions with him. He was very professional and very concerned about our case and is a very good listener. The compassion I felt from David and the attention I received from him in Court and over the phone was impressive. On sentencing day Mr. Chesley had the case dropped from multiple felony charges to a single misdemeanor and negotiated for me a probation only deal after he was able to knock an additional 6 months off my initial sentence.   This law firm is very passionate about the practice of criminal defense! After speaking with him and retaining him, I and my family felt we had a better fighting chance to get through the case. Based on his skills, work ethic, and results he obtained for me and my family in Compton Courthouse, Mr. Chesley turned out to be the best lawyer I have ever worked with. David Chesley represented on a case and he did an excellent job and resolved all my issues and more. Probation only on a robbery case that was going to have me serving 8 years in state prison! Meaning I ended up having no jail time at all. Was time served only. This was due to his knowledge and research, and refusal to compromise on the matters that impacted me the most. Would definitely recommend The Law Offices of David Chesley to anyone who is in need of a good attorney for criminal defense in Compton!
