Phat's Auto Group

I bought a car from Phat in 2021, after driving for a bit initially, there were some issues that popped up, however Phat took care of it all promptly under the dealer warranty. Since then my car has been running great.

After two years of no issues at all, I had an EVAP code pop up recently, this was specifically an issue for me since my car was due for a STAR smog test in less than a month. I brought the car to Phat and explained my situation and he quickly diagnosed the issue.

I dropped off my car for a few days while it got fixed, and afterwards Phat got my car smogged for me as well. Additionally, for the few days that my car was in the shop, he gave me a loaner vehicle (free of charge) so I did not have to miss work.

The experience I have had has been nothing but positive, even years later Phat takes care of his customers. If you are in the market for a used vehicle, I can honestly say that there is no better place than Phat's Auto Group.

I want to say I ONLY leave reviews for companies that are really up to bar with their customer service or products. First I want to thank Phats because he truly went the extra mile to ensure that the vehicle I purchased for my family was in well condition above all else.
I bought a Toyota RAV4 2003 and at first it had a leak that would cause tha car to over heat. Phats inspected it and determined the radiator needed repair. He changed the radiator and the car still was over heating. At this point I was nervous because I’ve had bad prior experience with car dealerships. Phats looked at the car and determined the whole engine needed to be taken out and he would need the car for a few days. It was a tough call honestly because I had placed almost all of the funds I had in this vehicle. I have 2 children and we currently were are going through homelessness. So out of kindness, Phats even paid for a room so that we had some where to stay while the car was getting fixed.

That was not required and I appreciate the fact that he helped my family in that way. Went above and beyond. I waited about a week or so to see how the car was doing. So far the car is great and I would recommend anyone shop here!

There are usually 2 people working at this dealership, Phat & the front desker & I think sometimes his wife? They have Carfax & many Toyota and Honda cars at a reasonable price, online site is up to date, not the cheapest or priciest which is fine. Having been super pressured before I felt less pressure here so that was nice. I was looking for a Fit but with gas prices rising to $6 they recommended a Prius which I'm very happy with, I didn't want to drive it out that day which makes it easier to clean & prepare the car. The application process is clear, no weird or crazy fees like car alarms or stereos, just the basic transfer title, DMV processing fee, 90 day warranty, financing was simple tho the receipts are in paper rather than email. They have a 90 day warranty if the car ends up bad but no idea if they would honor it, been driving the Prius for around 2 weeks with no problems so far. Will update review at the 90 day mark.
Easy to miss entrance but can park on the street. Mr Phat can be seen working on the cars in the back while the front helps the customers out. Busiest on weekends like most dealerships. Good service, if the hybrid battery doesn't die I recommend!
