Origins Barbershop

My first haircut in LA and they did a great job. I think his name was Jorge (older gentleman). Extremely thorough great medium skin fade. I’ll be back.
Also I see some complaints about the price of $45. I mean it’s LA folks, I think that’s reasonable.

Great haircut and amazing service. I will definitely be back. The barber, I think his name was Kane, he was very pleasant and did a great job with my hair! Will be back. Plus they are open until late so if you get off late that is the place to go. A+++

If I lived in the area this would be my new barbershop.

This barbershop is easy to miss but you won’t want to miss it! If you’re in the area looking for a place to get a quick haircut then this isn’t for you because these people will put the most effort in making sure you come out with hair you’ll love. They have great experience and it’s a great experience.

Story time:
Needed a last second haircut and everywhere else was closing but ended finding this little joint. Not too many signs up to distinguish it apart from the hair salon next door(attaching storefront pic to review) but was able to find it using street address. I have issues with my hair because it is thick and grows fast leaning whatever directions it pleases causing barbers to usually complain or give the ole “that’s just your hair there’s nothing much else we can do with it”. Leaves me defeated with no other option but to accept it. UNTIL the barber cutting my hair, Jesus, said they’re not using the right tools. In which, he whips out a razor with special grooves for thinning hair out differently than normal scissors. Let me just say he went in and when he was done with my hair I felt like I was on top of the world! I LOVED IT!! My girlfriend who was with me loved it! I got multiple compliments on it mentioning it looked different!

I was able to style it by just brushing it over! I couldn’t do that before my hair had a mind of its own! They really set the bar high.

Sorry not sorry for the long story but they deserve the hype.

What a great barber shop! Finding a great barber in a great environment is hard to come by. But this place really set the bar high! The service Elvis and Jesus have provided me is like no other. I have been here a couple times now. And haven’t been disappointed once. They really take their time and effort into their craft. Always on time. Very clean and sanitized shop. Give them a try. Just make sure to book a appointment before. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
