  Great place for kids to build their confidence and learn TKD. Though nothing beats in person lessons, Master Ryu and his staff make online learning via Zoom fun and engaging.

  Grandmaster Ryu is the one of the best in the world. He is Truly Professional and passionate. I Highly recommended.

  What else can I say about this fabulous TKD place. My daughter Valerie loves this place. Personally, I like the way Martial Art is introduced by the new owner. He is energetic, motivated, and FUN. His personality motivates his students by enforcing them proactively engage each other and also learns how to appreciate their parent. Will definitely continue the class until my daughter earns her Black belt.

  Grand Master Ryu isn’t just a champion at the sport of Tae Kwon Do, he is also a champion at caring and compassion for each individual he is teaching. His desire for everyone to be a champion is apparent in the way he teaches. He takes children under his wing as if they are his own and treats adults with the utmost respect. Don’t get me wrong though, he’s tough! But not impatiently tough like some coaches can be. He will work and work with you until you understand the form or movement precisely, all the while having the most calming patience with you. He’s dedicated to TKD and his students. If you want to succeed, he’ll make you succeed. If you're kind of lazy and don't really care about succeeding, he’ll still make you succeed. ;)
  
  He took my two boys under his wing and I love everything he has done for them. I am seeing two little boys grow and mature with confidence. Do I credit TKD under Grand Master Ryu? Yes! My son was bullied before taking TKD but slowly he is coming to terms with himself as he finds his personal strength. Not to be a bully himself since confident people don’t need to bully but rather to stand tall. That bully stole my son's confidence. Grand Master Ryu has given it back to him.
  
  Grand Master Ryu also took my daughter under his wing. She is mentally disabled but loved watching her brother take TKD. She is now taking private classes and GM Ryu has done soooo much for her! It doesn’t matter to him that she is disabled, he has treated her with so much love!!!! I am forever grateful to him for the love he has showered on her! He truly has made her dreams come true!!! To our family's surprise, he made her a star at a TKD tournament. Everyone in the place clapped and cheered for her. She will never stop glowing from that!
  
  Last but not least, I can NOT forget to mention the fact that Grand Master Ryu also has assistant teachers and Masters that are just as wonderful as him! He is surrounded by an awesome team!!! I love everyone! They’re all very special people.

  I cannot say enough good things about WCTA and Grand Master Ryu. We signed our older daughter up for a 3 week trial and before we knew it all 4 of us were enrolled! It is so obvious that GMR loves what he does, and wants to share it with his students. He is patient, kind, funny, but also expects best effort and does not settle for less. Being taught by him makes you want to be a better student. He builds up confidence in his students and always has constructive criticism to help us improve. He has a special way with kids, he really knows how to connect with them and challenge the while keeping the class fun. Aside from the physical skills he teaches in class, he also makes sure his students know how to be respectful of others, how to stand tall and be proud, how to love their family and themselves, and to ALWAYS FINISH WHAT YOU START! My husband and I really enjoy taking class with him because he shows us how we can be better in our skills, while still cheering us on. If you're thinking of trying out WCTA, DO IT! You will not be disappointed!
