P C Family Dentistry: Chung Peter DDS

I've literally been coming here since I've had teeth (I'm 27 now) Dr.Chung is the best! I drive from Carson because I trust absolutely no one else with my teeth...EVER. #teampeterchung

Dr Chung is super skilled. Very quick and thorough cleaning. No pain or bleeding.

Found Dr. Chung from my insurance website. He is nice and caring. I really don't like to visit dentists, but he made it so much easier. My first visit was last year when I had a filling came off. They scheduled the appointment next day because I was not in pain, otherwise they would try to fit me in the same day. Yesterday, Dr Chung got my wisdom tooth out and fixed another filling. No pain! Feel much better without that stupid wisdom tooth. Should have removed it long time ago, and I wish I knew Dr. Chung a long time ago.

I was searching for a new dentist so I decided to use Yelp. I searched for a dentist near by where I live, found Dr. Chung and decided to give him a try based on the good reviews. Well, they were right on!

The building where he is located in is covenant and clean. Loretta the receptionist is very sweet! She is easy to talk to, very clear and friendly. I got x-rays taken by the assistant who was also very nice and friendly!

After that was done I met Dr. Chung who too was very polite and friendly. He reviewed my x-rays and examined my teeth. He found only 2 small cavities! I was surprised because I haven't been to the dentist in 3-4 years. He also recommended deep cleaning and to take out one of my impacted wisdom teeth. Now note this was my first time getting all 3 procedures done. I've never had fillings from what I could remember, deep cleaning or any wisdom teeth taken out. I was really nervous but Dr Chung assured me that there was nothing to worry about and that everything is simple to do. He was right!

He first numbed me and then gave me a shot which I didn't feel at all. When he had to give me a shot at the roof of my mouth it was only little pinches. After that it was smooth sailing. The fillings were quick and painless as well as the deep cleaning. As for the wisdom tooth, no pain just weird pressure and what felt like grinding and my tooth being cracking to get out. It happened really fast!

Overall A+ to Dr Chung and his staff. I will be coming back here again. Oh and I have Delta Dental which covered me very well there!

Our family has been going to Dr. Chung for our dental care for over 15 years. What my family has always appreciated is his gentle touch when it comes to dental work. His work is great and his staff is friendly. We drive 1 1/2 hours to see him now because he has proved to be the best dentist for our family and now our children.
I strongly recommend Dr. Chung for routine dental care and dental work. His work is wonderful.
