  I hadn't been here since the theater changed into this new format. I liked it. I took my little boy with me and we had a good time. Price was still a bit much but it was a good experience. The seats recline and there is direct to chair service. All you have to do is press a button to have a server come and take your order and bring you what you ask for. Only thing is that now you're paying for a service fee so a tip is more than likely needed, I mean, If you're a nice person that is. The chair became a bit uncomfortable after a while but I think I was just a little too tired and wanted a nap. I did love the new look. Everything looks really modern and I think I'll definitely be back. I'm sure that I'll bring my girlfriend to my next visit so as to give her a nice experience. I think this is definitely a nice date theater. They have what looks like a full bar outside in the lobby. I suggest making this one a date night. Give them a try. Seating looks good on all ends. I still wouldn't want to sit in the front though.

  Definitely a different way of approaching Dine in Movie. Love the way food is served, eating out of actual dishes and not plastic. Food is well presented, staff are super nice and they make sure you are having a great time. Clean theater, seats are comfortable. Obviously, we didn't try everything on the menu but what we did was really good. Definitely coming back. Thank you!

  The seats are comfortable, the staff is helpful and friendly, the food is good. They have a variety of dishes for adults and kids. If you want a drink while you watch a movie you can buy something alcoholic. This place screens some awesome one night only special films. I have been coming here since it was under construction.

  My family and I absolutely love the Studio Movie Grill. The prices are low, the service is great, and the food is delicious. Tickets are always available online, or in person. We only had one problem, but the staff resolved it quickly, professionally, and adequately. I must say this place is a hidden gem in the city of Downey. I would recommend all my friends, family, and neighbors to support this local business.

  I love this movie studio. The margarita flat bread pizza was AMAZING. The staff was so great. I had the opportunity to meet the Manager Eddie and shared with him our families wonderful experience. He was clearly very conscientious of his staff and it all came together as a special experience for us. Love the seating Too! We're going back ASAP.☺

They have a awesome lobby bar with flat screen televisions. Leather sofas for lounging in the lobby. They have recliner type seats inside the theaters.
