I went to many barber shops and they rarely got me the haircut I wanted, even with picture references. As someone who doesn't cut their hair often, it's nice to hear the suggestion from someone who knows the right haircut for the head shape and hair type. After the first visit, they showed me what exactly I have been looking for and how to ask for it. I go to this barber shop exclusively for that reason.

Call before walk in to make sure Lalo is not busy. He will work out to satisfy you. Also his wife works with female hair cuts and colors.

Lalo is the best barber in Downey California. He has been cutting my son's hair since he was a baby and he likes it. The wait is worth it.
