  Jesus who works the front desk is super Helpful and knows just about everything aviation. Good rates lots of planes to meet your basic flying needs. If you are looking for some gay brand new G 1000 go fly somewhere else.

  I started my private license in American Aviation Academy EL Cajon, San Diego. That school fleeces the students in very possible way... and do not let you go to your check ride in order to make more money training you... I got fed up with them and shifted to Universal Air El Monte... in one month 1 got my private... they don't intimidate the students and provide a non threatening atmosphere to learn... and I checked the prices... they are the cheapest.

  Had a great time. Flew a Cessna 172 and my instructor Ted was super informative and great at making this first time experience Awesome. I highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn from the best. Affordable and professional. What more could you ask for. Thanks again Ted .

  In mid Feb 2013, after researching all different flight schools in the east LA area I decided to get my initial CFI at the Universal Air Academy in Brackett airport. After 4 weeks, my training was completed and passed on my first attempt. My instructor Alex Reyes (with too many thousands of flying hours) was very knowledgeable and informative in giving advices during the training. I was amazed by his superior level of expertise and how someone like him could be so modest and supportive at the same time.
  
  Also, I would like to mention that there was absolutely no hidden cost for my training. Everything was as quoted.
  
  The school is located outside busy airspace and in a perfect location for flight training and if you’re looking for a flight school, I would definitely recommend this one.

  the instructors here are friendly and professional. The school facilities are well/! aircraft are well maintained. I recommended all flyer and student come to fly in this school. i got my IR and CPL here!!!
