Welcomeness: When I entered, I was greeted with a smile and given a bulletin. The warmth of the people and the church was immediately felt.

Environment/ The Building: The SDA church is held in what seemed to be a revamped warehouse building. In the sanctuary the seats are arranged in a stadium seating style. It is set up in a concert feel with the lights dimmed for the audience and luminescent lights for the stage. The concert-venue sanctuary sits about 200 people and on this Sabbath it was 70% filled. The church has a great sound and lighting system that adds to the service.

Atmosphere in church / The Feel: The use of lights on the stage gives it a modern feel that is youthful, vibrant, and energetic. The dark sanctuary also allows for one to be themselves, praising and singing with less pressure of people looking at them. The decor of the sanctuary creates excitement for the service as it suits a younger or progressive audience.
