“Had my first ever life coaching session last week. I have always been a Type A personality, always striving to learn and grow in both my career and personal life. I had gotten to a place where I felt completely overwhelmed, over-committed and was spinning. Everything seemed to be a priority and of equal weight. I met with Julia in the hopes of getting an outside perspective and help in prioritizing my long list of what I wanted to accomplish. She asked lots of questions that resulted in tremendous ideas for time management and organization. In the end, I had created a list of action items that helped me focus my energy on what I valued most. But that wasn’t the best part… I realized the way I was talking to myself and how hard I was on myself, causing me to feel that I constantly had to do more and be better. It was eye-opening and something that I had never even noticed. I can honestly say, that I am a much better friend to myself as the result of one coaching session. I am learning to silence my inner-critic and went from feeling pressured, exhausted and non-productive to happily productive.”
