New Noodle Garden Taiwanese Cuisine

Authentic Taiwanese bento !

I was a bit skeptical about this place because the previous dumpling house that occupied this unit was quite average. However after reading the review that this place was taken over by the famous Taiwanese beef noodle house used to be in Alhambra, I decided to give a try.

Post Covid, this place is now take-out only (accept cards), you can also follow their post to see their weekly special family meals (menu changes daily). Decent portions I heard.

Onto food itself. The bento itself is very authentic yet delicious. Not your typical popcorn chicken/fried pork chop rice. Not as greasy as other places (huge plus). Simmered pork chop rice was rich in flavor yet light on grease. Their half-boiled egg were a nice surprise too, just like the ones that we would like when we ordered ramen. Rice and side dishes were all to Taiwanese style liking.

I will definitely come back in the near future for more tasty Taiwanese food.

Takeout only and somewhat limited choices now due to pandemic. It is almost as good as sitting down but for certain things, it just can't be the same. Chinese name of restaurant changed but same owner and chef. Hope can be back for other dishes.

Love this hole in the wall place with good service. They serve great Taiwanese beef noodle soup and side dishes. Wife and I come here so often, the server already knows our favorite dishes soon as we walk in.
