“When it comes to places like La Chiquita, I usually like to keep it to myself. It's a neighborhood taqueria as well. The owner and her husband have had the business for 20+ years. The cops eat here a LOT, SO DON'T GET ANY IDEAS! The soups are a cure-all. I ordered the Chicken Caldo and the Veggie Beef Caldo. The veggies are cut fresh and dropped into the broth with the Chicken, so expect to wait while your soup is made fresh in front of you. Everyone that eats here is a regular. It's a great place to meet the locals, but it's tiny, so not a real hangout spot. The owners speak Spanish and English. Street parking only. No public bathrooms.”

The setting is perfect for a great and tasty meal as we experience today, the salsas and superb and the service is marvelous. The owner was there to greet us and share the history behind her restaurant and a little bit about her upcoming book, which really sounds terrific. It's easy to miss since it's nestled behind the street level in a little village area, but make sure you look for it find it and enjoy spectacular meal. I am definitely coming back for a dinner and other meals in the future. Oh and the price is very very reasonable”
