(November 20, 2018, 7:31 pm)Stopped up here when one of my friends had an oil leak on his motorcycle. The water fountain works luckily, but the office itself is closed Saturday and Sunday. Considering there is no cell service on the mountain, there is a land line at the fire station across the street. One of the few places you can make a call from on the crest. Hung out here for about an hour. Beautiful views.

At this location you can purchase Daily access passes as well as annual passes. they also have lots of information about the National Forest, with trails, tours, and guides to help you navigate your way through the forest. They also have schedules and updates pertaining specific locations within the forest that close in summer and winter times. be sure to always stop by here to get the latest information about the forest. Also, it is your responsibility to protect the forest from a fire, so be safe!

(January 30, 2018, 4:41 pm)Easy 15 minute parking, helpful staff (you can buy an adventure pass here), and a toilet out back. Stop in on your way up the mountain and get up to date status on the trails and crowds. Tiny little office without any other amenities.
