Exer Urgent Care

First off I want to start out by saying the staff is amazing. I drove over and hour to get to the La Canada location and had called the service center about an hour prior to getting there and they said to just go no appointment needed for covid test. I got there an hour later and was told they are not doing anymore tests that night because they were full of people waiting, I was panicking and needed to get tested since my husband tested positive and we have two little ones. The manager was nice enough to fit me in and the staff was very pleasant. Thank you for all you do

I've always been weary of urgent care centers, as I've visited some that were over crowded, with careless staff and the treatment was rushed. However, my experience at Exer proved not all urgent acre centers are the same. I was very surprised to find that Exer was spacious, honored social distancing, and wasn't crowded. They have someone managing the entrance, which is nice. It's also very clean, organized, and the entire staff is warm, welcoming, caring and personable- a first ever experience for me at an Urgent Care. I really like Exer, and will use it for my urgent medical matters. I highly recommend!

Please commend Harold on the care he gave me yesterday. He was excellent and spent a lot of extra time trying to help me!
Their staff needs to do a better job updating patient computer Files. After I filled out the 2 page Patient info and history forms, nothing was corrected in my file. The discharge orders told me to follow up with my doctor...who passed away in February! I had written my new doctor’s info on the forms. My Rx’s were sent to the wrong pharmacy, even though I wrote my current pharmacy’s information on the form and verbally told the staff at the front window which pharmacy to use! That caused a 1 hour fiasco when I went to pick up the Rx’s. Why have the patient fill out paperwork that only gets ignored??!!
On another note, all of the staff I encountered were very kind and polite.

Its the Huntington Hospital experience and quality, but with fresh paint and new flooring. Its probably even a little better being that its less stressful for the nurses and doctors than the big Hospital so there's an extra scoop of positive energy and communication. You get doctors rotating their time between the big hospital and this Urgent Care. This makes coming to this Urgent Care location a no-brainer.

This will be our new go-to-Non-Life-Threatening urgent-issue location.

This was the best urgent care I have ever been to. The male nurse taking care of everyone who walked up to the doors, keeping people in line for testing services, managing other walk-ups, distributing paperwork, giving information and NEVER stopping in the two hours I was there for COVID testing. He was super hard working and helpful. I had to go the next day for more testing and I was extremely impressed with EVERYONE I had contact with. It was truly a place that had hired people who not only really cared about their work but cared for every person they came in contact with. HARD working professionals!
