My overall experience was good. Everybody was friendly and professional. That includes the front end girl, the blood pressure girl, the paperwork girl ,and the doctor. Also, everything was done in a very timely manner. I appreciate that. Thank you.
Seemed like a clean facility. Friendly staff, except for the M.A., who showed her distain for my decision not to go to the hospital (Pomona Valley), a few days earlier when I suspected that I had symptoms of a mini stroke. I had my reasons, but she wasn't interested, she was too disgusted in my apparent failed choice to stay home.
The doctor was great. He was very concerned about my symptoms that I had a week prior to my visit, and the fact that I was currently experiencing a very bad headache and presenting with high blood pressure. Now, I believe he erred on the side of caution and requested that I go, immediately to the ER for possible stroke symptoms. I had NO other symptoms, other than the headache and very high blood pressure. I knew that high blood pressure could cause a severe headache. I chose to go home...sorry doctor, sorry to the judgmental M.A., and I took my blood pressure medication, some Excedrin, and an Ibuprofen. Within 30 minutes, my headache subsided, and I was feeling better. Thank you to the doctor for his concern and care for my wellbeing.
After waiting 1.5 hours to see a doctor i saw the doctor for 5 minutes. He sent a nurse in 30 mins later to hand me a packet of information about his prognosis. By this time I was tired, sick, been listening to staff chatter and laughter while I waited to get some answers from a doctor. He gets the big bucks yet he speeds the least amount of time with me. The need a new system. All staff was friendly and polite. My apologies to the nurse that delivered my results. I kinda vented my frustrations to her. She was very kind and took my rudeness well.
