I used to go there quite often with my family when I was very young and I remember quite well my first experience was absolutely amazing. ???? one of my favorite places to camp and hike around.
THIS PLACE WAS ONCE MY HOME WHEN I WAS HOMELESS.. I SURE DO MISS IT =/

Cottonwood campground has 61 campsites and is the first campground you'll see if you enter from Joshua Tree National Park's south entrance. Each campsite has a parking pad area, picnic table, fire ring and grill. The campground has water, flush toilets, a picnic area and group camping.

Cottonwood Campground in Joshua Tree National Park, Twentynine Palms California. There is also a dump station. The water spigots are located throughout the campground but we filled up at the dump station. There are 2 loops, the motorhome sites are perimeter parallel road sites.
